Grand Master

In college and in school, I used to be a very ardent fan(atic) of participating and conducting quizzes. But while onto US for my MS, I had missed this fervor and enthusiasm solely, because I found a very few quiz programs conducted (compared to that in India) and not much of people who came there for studies did really have the interest to explore this field.

.... Thus, a nice ascending summit started to saturate - but still, whenever I found time, I used to pen some quiz questions, see the Millionaire (hope my dreams on becoming one does become one!!!), KBC (the Indian Millionaire) and browse through various sites to get and grasp knowledge of the same.

With quiz, also comes 20Q(uestions) - this is a very intelligent game and I was very tactical in getting the questions and trying to figure out hte personality/place/.

Recently on Vijay TV, I started to see the GrandMaster show that was a more 'better' version of the 20Q. I say more better as I find that the stage setting and the guy ('GrandMaster') who asks the question are good. But I certainly don't understand why you need a 'tall and elegant' Gayathri Jayaram to host the show. Not only does she not know more in GK, she also kills the beauty of the spoken Tamil Language - wish they take her off and entertain a few more participants on the show.

Also, more intriguing is the 'is the personality approved?' part - I wonder that if anyone comes for a challenge, they should be able to handle any Tom, Dick or Harry and not restrict it to the famous in the field.
